Oracle NetSuite has announced that Connor Group is a Summer 2023 Alliance Partner Spotlight Award Winner, Hospitality, for its work with ezCater, a Boston-based company that connects businesses with restaurants and caterers through an online marketplace. NetSuite’s Alliance Partner Spotlight Awards recognize leading partners and their achievements for outstanding work with customers.
For ezCater, Connor Group implemented NetSuite as its new ERP platform to help the company with its overall technology and integration strategies. ezCater had challenges manually aggregating data in a format that could be easily fed to its general ledger. GL, OneWorld, Financial Management Cloud, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Management Cloud were integrated during the first phase. Connor Group also supported ezCater with its system landscape design and dataflow, SOD proprietary controls packages, including workflows, roles/permissions, and reporting.
The go-live date was met after four months of implementation, and the first post-go-live month-end close was completed on time. Historical data was migrated for two US and two international entities; three on-sites for conference room pilots, UAT, and support for the first month-end close was included after going live. The combination of remote and in person sessions helped the teams build lasting professional relationships.
With NetSuite, ezCater now has consolidated reporting for all entities. Transactions from peripheral software are aggregated in NetSuite. Phase one implementation serves as a springboard to prepare ezCater for expanding its financial system landscape to include a data synthesis layer, which will feed aggregated revenue transactions into NetSuite in an intuitive format for easy reporting.
